  • Where can I find jobs or internships?

  • Why do I pay 18.70 Euro to you?

    This mandatory payment officially registers you as a student in Austria and enable you to use our many services. Browse the website to find out the services you are eligible to as a student.

  • Is it possible to have a job while studying in the LBS master degree?

    The LBS master degrees are full time and very demanding. Working full time is not possible, but probably part time jobs are manageable. It is important to keep in mind that for non-European students there is a limit by law of 20 hours per week and for bachelor students only 10 hours of work per week.

  • Am I allowed to print my test records?

    Yes, just go to the administrative office and ask for your records.
    For a small fee of 0.20 cents you can make a copy. Keep in mind that you can do so within half a year from the date when the results were given.

  • Is there a specialization in the Bachelor degree?

    Yes! You can choose between a marketing track and a finance track. The specialization is relevant for the 4th-6th semesters.

  • In case of transferring from a different university, can my courses from the other university be recognized and accredited?

    It is definitely possible to receive accreditation for previous courses. In order to do so, you will have to present your syllabus in English to the relevant Professor and in case of approval by the professor your request will be evaluated and signed by your director of studies. Keep in mind that this process is possible only within the first 2 weeks of the semester.

  • What happens if I fail a commission?

    In case of failing a commission, you will not be able to participate in any more exams and you will have to repeat the course, which means repeating the study year. If, unfortunately, you have failed the commission twice, you will not be able to continue your degree studies at LBS.

  • How do I apply to the master programs?

    The first step is to write Prof.Miha (roksela.miha@lbs.ac.at) an Email indicating your desired master program. Then you will be required to write an article of about 500 words on a specific question which will be sent to you by Prof.Miha. The essay is due within 3 working days after the question was given. In case of a positive evaluation of the essay, you will be invited for a group interview. In this interview you will be asked to introduce yourself, your thoughts and opinions. As part of the interview there will be a group session (based on a study case) which will examine your performance as part of a group.
